Where - Devonport Community House- Rimu Room What - Learn the fundamental skills of making pasta from scratch from a true pasta-making master! In this hands-on cooking class, you will learn how to make fresh pasta by hand following the ancient Italian tradition. Cosimo will teach you the secrets of the perfect dough using the kneading and resting process, and the techniques to create different cuts of pasta using a classic pasta machine or shaping it by hand… spaghetti, tagliatelle, pappardelle, cavatelli, farfalle and more! Where - Devonport Community House-Kauri Hall What - John Talbot is one of our wonderful volunteer drivers at the Devonport Community House. However, he is also a very skilled and passionate personal trainer, with extensive experience! John served for 14 years with the NZ Defence Force, seven with NZ Army and seven with the RNZAF. In order to qualify as a PTI (Physical Training Instructor), John had to pass 5 courses which were spread over a 5-year period and resulted in receiving a Diploma in Physical Education. John would like to help and inspire anyone in the community to come and get fit and healthy. He understands that as you get older it becomes harder but would like to work with members in our community and get them fighting fit! Cost - $5 |

Every Friday we will be holding these sessions and you will be able to bring your device and questions for some one on one help.
